According to your desires, within a radius of one kilometer maximum, passing by the very pleasant Cours Grandval you can go to the city center and make the choice of a cultural walk with visits to the Museum Fesch or the House Bonaparte, enter the Citadel of Ajaccio, recently opened to the public, breathe the sea air by strolling on the quays of the Port Tino Rossi to observe the fishermen’s activity. You can also decide to stroll the streets, go shopping or to see a film at the Cinema le Laetitia which has just reopened its doors.

If you prefer to get some exercises, walking 10 minutes you’ll arrive to “le Bois des Anglais” where starts the famous Sentier des Crêtes. For a jog, run in the footsteps of Henri Matisse on the promenade that bears his name and goes from Place Miot to Trottel beach. The light of our imperial city was a decisive source of inspiration in the painter’s work!
Want to swim? There is of course the sea just a stone’s throw away but also the municipal swimming pool of the Pascal Rossini complex.

A memorial has also been erected : this magnificent statue watches over the petanque players who also animate this beautiful Place d'Austerlitz!

Another must-see: take your car or bus N°5 to get to the peninsula of Parata in 20 minutes and observe the magnificent Sanguinarian Islands!
